There is a choice of three ceremony rooms and once you’ve completed the form, Solihull Registry Office will get in touch to advise if your chosen date and time is available. Upon booking you’ll need to pay for a certificate and, unless you’re getting married in a Church of England, you’ll need to give ‘Notice of Marriage’. You will need to make an appointment to give notice by telephoning 0121 704 8002 and you will need to have lived in the district where you are giving notice for a minimum of 9 clear days immediately prior to giving notice. There is a notice fee per person and the notice will be publicly displayed for 28 days.

If you want to hold your ceremony somewhere else in Solihull, the Solihull Registry Office has a list of approved venues, detailed below, and you will need to check their license is in date, as well as booking a registrar to perform the ceremony.
